when to prune muscadine vines?
i bought a house 1 yr ago,property has muscadine vines ,they were let go, not pruned&shaped up, i would like to know when to prune &how to shape it up so it will produce muscadines.any info will be greatful,thanks

You did not state where you lived,so this information may not be true for you.But in the South they trim vines in Jan.,Feb.
You could also search when to prune in your state.

they should be pruned in spring ,they should be cut at the bud so they will form a new shoot also something to climb on will help the fruit from getting a fungus this is a very old type of fruiting vine . these vines are not cheap anymore they cost a lot to replace if you can even find a place that carries them sometimes they have to order them if you have a large vine after you prune it you can cut it up into cuttings and tie them up in a bundle then stick them in sand and they will take root you can also sell them to nurseries as cuttings ,
According to where you live, call your extension agent, But here in NC its around February
