What can I use in place of red wine vinegar in a clam chowder?
I am making a clam chowder, it says at the end I put in 1 tbsp of red wine vinegar with my salt and pepper, I don’t have any, I have vinegar, and balsamic vinegar, and I don’t have any wine. what can I use?? Can I just leave it??

use balsamic
Vomit
Or get of your butt and go to the grocery store you looser.
Use the balsamic. The flavor will be slightly different, but it will still be very good. You could also try lemon juice if you have it. Once again, a different, but good, taste.
I have never heard of red wine vinegar in it…
personally, I use a splash of white wine…white wine is awesome with seafood chowder…
Chardonnay
A rich and ripe (but dry) Chardonnay from California or Australia, with lots of body and good fruit flavors will stand up to a creamy seafood soup.
Dude, I should’ve read the whole question, if you don’t have it, just leave it…it sounds good the way it is…
You can replace it with another acidic substance, broth or just leave it out. If you do choose to use a substitute just compliment it to the other flavours.
