Musadine juice at my wedding! Please help!?
Hi, I’ve always loved the muscadine (scuppernong) juice that is bottled by my hometown winery. Since my family’s religious beliefs will make it unwise to have alcohol at my wedding reception, I thought having a bottle of chilled muscadine juice on each table would be perfect. Problem is, I have no idea what sort of glasses to set out for the juice. My fiance seems to think champagne glasses would work, seeing that the juice is "replacing" champagne. Can anyone tell me what is considered proper?
Btw it is white muscadine juice.
Chris B – Post Familie is the brand! Their winery is in my hometown of Altus, Arkansas!!! When I lived there, I could walk to their company store and buy the juice…..the Posts are really great people also. It’s still a family-run business. Thanks for the reply!

I had a freind who’s father was a recovering alcoholic and he had juice at his wedding in the tall fluted champange glasses. His father was really touched by the fact that his son thought enough of him to not have alcohol for the toast.
water glass or mason jar
Someone has already said this, but I just want to second it. It’s your wedding, and you should do whatever you’re happy with! There aren’t many weddings nowdays that go exactly by the book. Almost every single wedding has a little extra special touch that comes from the bride or groom’s special wishes. Have fun and Best Wishes!
It is your wedding. Do what you want. But, if it is "replacing" champagne, you could use the tall Champagne fluted glasses. White muscadine is a sweet wine found usually no farther north than Arkansas. There is a winery in Arkansas, "Post Family", that makes the best Muscadine ever. Good luck in your marriage.
The beautiful thing about it being YOUR wedding, is that you can do whatever you’d like! I see absolutely nothing wrong with serving juice in champagne glasses, to give it a more elegant and formal feel….It is a nice twist and I say go for it! Have a wonderful day!
muscadine juice is more like a white wine, like champagne in a way because it is kind of sparkling but is made with grapes bbut think of it more of a white wine. proper way to serve is with white wine glasses, the ones that have a flute not a tulip
