The simple answer is that it all depends on where you were raised at. If you were raised speaking English then it’s obviously not very hard for you to speak and understand it (for most people). If someone else was raised speaking a different language then, yes, it would be more difficult to understand. It also works the same way reversed. But, English is considered one of the more complex and difficult languages to learn.

You did have good examples of contradictions though.

Well it certainly isn’t a boring language and, unlike many others, has very few rules. This is why I personally love English, although I wouldn’t have come up with as many examples as you, well done! My husband’s mother tongue is French and he always complains about English, untill recently, whenever he was really hungry he used to say he was ‘vanished’ instead of famished, he thought they meant the same

for me its not easy. because its hard to explain some words,
but its our second language so we need to study.study to become good so it become easy.

A not so complicated language for someone highly interested in learning it.

In my native language, the feet smell and the nose runs too!
